We had to read this article. This article was really short and didn't have much detail so we had to re-write the news article using more descriptive words and detail. We had to make sure it was in our own words.
My writing:
One really hot day in Australia wildlife authorities found a snake on a highway in the northern territory. The authorities saw something unusual on the snake and that thing was that the snake had three eyes. The snake had light brown and black skin and strips of a sand colour also on its body and the two normal eyes were where it was meant to be and the other eye was down by its mouth. Then they took photos of this snake and they took care of the snake by seeing if it was OK so they looked after it.
