Hi Legacy,Remember that the long hand is for the minutes and the short hand is for the hour.Example: 6:25am is 25 minutes past 6 o'clock. This means the short hand will point just past the 6 and the long hand will point to 25 minutes past the hour.I hope this makes sense,Miss West
